Import local files like PDF or EPUB

Import local files like PDF or EPUB when you want to read documents stored on your device.

Import a file

1. Open the "Open" screen (which is a bottom tab on smaller devices like phones, or a tab on the left-hand side on larger devices like desktop).
2. Choose PDF, EPUB, or other supported local file format.
3. Select the file from your device.
4. Wait for the import to complete, then tap/click on the imported item in your Library to open it in the reader.

Tips

• Text-based PDFs import best. Scanned or image-only PDFs may fail.
• Large files can take longer to process.
