Import a PDF or ePub file

You can add a PDF or ePub from your device to your SwiftRead Library. Files can be up to 25 MB.

PDF imports use premium pages. Free accounts include a daily allowance, while PRO includes unlimited premium pages.

Add the file

  1. Open the Open screen.
  2. Under Local Files, select PDF or ePub.
  3. Select the file from your device.
  4. Once the import finishes, select the document in your Library to open it.

If the import fails

  • Make sure the file is a PDF or ePub and no larger than 25 MB.
  • Scanned PDFs can take longer because SwiftRead needs to recognize the text on each page. If one fails, make sure the pages are clear and readable, then try again.
  • Large or complex files can also take longer. Check Open > Import History to see whether the import is still processing.
