Switch between reader and source view

For PDFs and webpage imports, Reader shows the text prepared for SwiftRead. Source lets you refer back to the original PDF or webpage.

Open the source

1. Open a PDF or a document imported from a webpage.
2. Find the Reader and Source selector near the top of the reader.
3. Select Source.

For a PDF, the original PDF opens inside SwiftRead. Select Reader to return to SwiftRead's reading view.

For a webpage, Source opens the original page in your browser. Return to SwiftRead when you're ready to continue reading.

If Source isn't available

• If the Reader and Source selector is missing, that import only supports Reader mode.
• If a webpage does not open, allow SwiftRead to open links and try Source again.
• If a PDF does not have Source available, that import does not include an in-app Source view. Open the original PDF separately.
