Enable audio narration
Audio narration reads a document aloud while SwiftRead keeps the spoken words in sync with the reader. Free accounts get a daily narration allowance; PRO includes unlimited narration.
Turn on narration
- Pause reading, then select the audio icon in the reader controls.
- In Text-to-Speech Settings, toggle Enable Narration on.
- Close Text-to-Speech Settings.
- Press Play.
Narration works in Focus, Flow, and Spotlight modes. You can also double-tap the audio icon to turn narration on or off without opening settings.
If narration isn't working
- If the audio icon is missing, pause reading first.
- If you've used the free daily allowance, wait for it to reset or select Upgrade for Unlimited Narration.
- If you hear the wrong voice or language, open Text-to-Speech Settings, select Current voice, and choose a voice from Voice Library.
