Switch to the new extension experience
Unfortunately, the legacy browser extension experience is no longer supported.
You do not need to install a second extension. Switch to the new SwiftRead extension experience to get the most up to date version of SwiftRead.
Use the new extension experience to read webpages and PDFs you have opened in your browser. It also includes free text-to-speech narration, free EPUB and supported reader support such as Kindle Cloud and Libby, and cross-device access.
- In your browser, right-click on the SwiftRead extension icon next to your address bar. You may have to "pin" the SwiftRead extension to see it. Note that your SwiftRead extension icon may have a red exclamation icon if the extension is still on the legacy experience.
- Select "Options".
- Select the "New" extension experience option.
If you do not see the Options menu, confirm the extension is pinned and enabled.
