Switch to the new extension experience (or back to legacy)

Summary: how to switch between the new and legacy extension experience: right-click the SwiftRead icon in the browser bar > Options > Legacy.

Use the new extension experience to read webpages and PDFs you have opened in your browser. It also includes:

• cross-device access: download the new SwiftRead mobile/tablet apps for iOS and Android)
• AI features like section summaries

Here's how to switch between the new extension experience and the legacy one:

1. In your browser, right-click on the SwiftRead extension icon next to your address bar. You may have to "pin" the SwiftRead extension to see it. Note that your SwiftRead extension icon may have a red exclamation icon if the extension is still on the legacy experience.
2. Select "Options".
3. Select the "New" extension experience option.
4. To switch back to the legacy extension experience, simply select the "Legacy" option.

If you do not see the Options menu, confirm the extension is pinned and enabled.
