Install the SwiftRead browser extension

Install the browser extension to open webpages, PDFs, and other content from Chrome or Edge directly in SwiftRead.

Install the extension

1. Open SwiftRead in the Chrome Web Store or SwiftRead in Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
2. Click Add to Chrome in Chrome or Get in Edge.
3. Approve the installation when your browser asks.

Pin SwiftRead after installing so its icon stays visible in your browser toolbar.

Open your first webpage

1. Open the webpage you want to read.
2. Click the SwiftRead extension icon.
3. Click SwiftRead current page.

To sign in, click the extension icon and then click Account at the bottom of the menu. Signing in connects the extension to your Library and any PRO access already tied to that account.

If you bought PRO before February 24, 2026, you may need to connect that purchase once before PRO follows your account to a new computer. Follow Use an older PRO purchase on a new computer.
