Create and manage reading profiles

Reading profiles let you save a group of settings and switch between different reading setups quickly.

Create a profile

1. Adjust the reader settings you want to save.
2. Pause reading, then select the gear icon in the reader controls.
3. Select Profiles.
4. Select Create new profile.
5. Enter a profile name.
6. Select Save profile.

Apply or update a profile

1. Open Profiles.
2. Select a profile to apply all of its saved settings.
3. After changing a custom profile's settings, select Update profile name to replace its saved settings.
4. Confirm Update.

The selected profile is marked Active. If you change one of its settings without updating the profile, it will be marked Modified.

Rename, delete, or exit a profile

• Open the three-dot menu on a custom profile, then select Rename or Delete.
• Select Exit profile to restore the settings you were using before you selected the profile.
• If you modified the active profile, choose Save as new profile or Discard & exit when prompted.

If a profile doesn't behave as expected

• Built-in profiles cannot be renamed, deleted, or updated. Create a new profile to save your changes.
• If the active profile cannot be selected again, save or discard its current modifications first.
• Profile names must be unique.
