Highlight/focus on single or multiple words while playing
When you press the Play button in the reader, words are automatically highlighted or focused on (and synced with narration audio if you've enabled that). This helps you get through text efficiently by guiding your eyes forward.
To change the number of words that are highlighted or focused on at a time, adjust the "Focus Span" setting.
- Open a document in your Library
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom right) -> Speed Reading -> Focus Span
- Increase the focus span to highlight/focus on more words at a time, or decrease it to highlight/focus on fewer words at a time.
